Woodward has been fortunate to partner with local school districts for well over a decade. Over time, we have leveraged many opportunities created in an effort to make connections between our youth talent pipelines and manufacturing career paths. A few of those opportunities have included job shadows, tours, internships, apprenticeships, teacher externships, Manufacturing Day and Parents Night events; all of which were a result of the strong partnership between stakeholders.
We are particularly proud to see numerous students with whom we’ve engaged over the years, actually working in industry today. We believe the connectivity between stakeholders helped create avenues for students to explore and ultimately land in manufacturing careers.
Woodward places a high value on the partnership with our schools and is eager to support continuous improvement of our systems and infrastructure to achieve our complimentary goals.
