Vectis Automation has, and will continue to be, very active with college internships. I have seen over three companies, over 20 years, the power of hiring and developing talent through college internships.
Over 80% of the talent of Fort Collins company, Wolf Robotics by the time we sold the business to Lincoln Electric company, were originally interns that grew and developed over time to be superstars in our industry. The organically grown intern talent was the critical success factor for our business.
The core leadership team of Vectis Automation were the best people, in key positions from Wolf Robotics, that were themselves originally interns. So, when we created Vectis Automation in 2019, the key leadership understood the value and investment in internships; and we repeated the winning recipe. Today, the hiring and developing of key talent from college internships continues at Vectis Automation, and it is absolutely, again, a critical success factor.
