One shining example of the success of this partnership is Roosevelt senior Grant Stratton, who is on the path to becoming a certified HVAC technician through this innovative program.
For the past two years, Grant has worked as an HVAC apprentice at A+ Heating and Air, learning the complexities of the trade under the expert mentorship of Zach Karre. From hands-on technical training to client interaction, Grant has been immersed in every aspect of the business. His dedication to mastering HVAC systems while balancing his high school coursework demonstrates his remarkable commitment to his future career.
Grant’s journey to apprenticeship success began in Roosevelt High’s Construction Career and Technical Education Pathway, where he earned crucial certifications in HBI and OSHA safety standards. These certifications laid the groundwork for his hands-on experience in HVAC and ensured his readiness to excel in a professional environment.
