The Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering Success Center is committed to empowering and equipping students to discover and pursue academic and career goals that honor their identities through intentional collaboration with campus partners and employers. As a public institution, we are obligated to allow access to a broad range of employers to meet with our student population. To the extent students are unfamiliar with an employer who is interviewing on campus, the Engineering Success Center encourages them to learn more about that employer in order to make informed decisions that are congruent and aligned with their personal values.
Career Fair FAQ’s:
- Where is the event? The event is going to be held on the third floor of the Lory Student Center in the ballrooms.
- What should I bring? An updated resume and also update your Handshake profile. If you have not created a resume, please attend a Resumes for Engineering Undergraduates workshop to learn about techniques. Workshop schedules will be located on Handshake for you to register. After attending a workshop plan to follow up with a resume review. If you need assistance with Handshake or resume review, please sign-up for a 1:1 session through Handshake before the fair.
- Is there a dress code? Please dress for success; bring multiple copies of your resume and a valid student ID.
- How do I prepare for the Career Fair? Schedule a meeting with an Engineering Career Readiness team member, or University Career Center staff member, on Handshake or check out prep resources at https://career.colostate.edu/resource-center/ and https://www.engr.colostate.edu/engineering-success-center/career-fair/.
- Do I need to register to attend? No, but we highly encourage you to do so. Please click “Join Event” on the left side of this page. You will check in with your student ID or CSUID number when you arrive at the Lory Student Center on the day of the event.
