Due to the changing COVID-19 pandemic, Colorado State University reserves the right to shift the In-Person Career Fair to a virtual platform, if needed. In case of shift, CSU will reduce the price of the fair registration to the virtual fair pricing. We ask that you still attend in this scenario.

CSU strongly recommends having alternate recruiters as a backup for fair attendance in case of illness or other unforeseen conflicts.

Please Note: Pre-payment is required. If you are unable to pay before the Career Fair, please contact the Event and Program Coordinator. If you have not confirmed cancellation by Friday, September 1, 2023, your space will be released to an organization on the waitlist, AND payment will still be due to remain in good standing to access our services to recruit in the future.

Please note that starting January 1, 2021, the State of Colorado has implemented the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. This act covers a number of requirements and prohibitions for employers in order to prevent pay disparities. Specifically, we want to draw employers’ attention to several critical components:

  1. Employers are required to disclose in each job posting the hourly or salary compensation range along with the general description of benefits and other potential compensation
  2. Employers are prohibited from requesting wage rate history of a prospective employee or requiring it as a condition of employment
  3. Employers are required to maintain records of job descriptions and wage rate history for each employee while employed and for 2 years after employment ends

Further information on this act and which employers must abide by these regulations can be found here. If you have additional questions, please connect with your organization’s Human Resources department or legal counsel.

The Colorado State University Career Center is committed to empowering and equipping students to discover and pursue academic and career goals that honor their identities through intentional collaboration with campus partners and employers.   As a public institution, we are obligated to allow access to a broad range of employers to meet with our student population. To the extent students are unfamiliar with an employer who is interviewing on campus, the Career Center encourages them to learn more about that employer in order to make informed decisions that are congruent and aligned with their personal values.
